Shaun - Minneapolis Flyball Tournament - Jan 1992 (3 years old)
Brad and Shaun ready to start during their second flyball tournament.
This one took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Brad's hand is directing
Shaun's focus on the tennis ball and flyball box at the end of HIS OWN
lane instead of on the dogs racing beside him in the other lane. Shaun
sometimes wanted to cross over to the other team's lane during his early
days in flyball. This helped him focus.
Shaun got his FDX title (Flyball Dog Excellent - 100 points) at this
tournament. We never dreamed Shaun would go on to accumulate 61,596 points
over the next 8 years. At a maximum of 25 points for each heat Shaun ran
up and down the flyball course a lot of times during the course of his
flyball career!
